NASP is an activity that doesn’t discriminate based on popularity, athletic skill, gender, size, or academic ability. It uses international style target & 3-D style archery is to teach the values associated with learning a lifelong skill and emphasizes the process rather than results.
To get your school started in NASP, you first need to have at least one teacher trained as a Basic Archery Instructor (BAI). Once you have a certified BAI, the school must purchase an archery kit. This kit contains enough equipment to set up a range for 10 student archers at a time.
From here, the coaches/volunteers can focus their archery program into their regular gym time and look forward to local/provincial/national tournaments!
