Youth Conservation Camp

The SWF Youth Conservation Camp is back for the 2025 Summer!!

at the Hannin Creek Education & Applied Research Centre, Candle Lake, SK

Developed to offer young people the opportunity to learn and experience in the great outdoors, the SWF Conservation Camp has been an ongoing success for over 30 years.

At camp, boys and girls aged 12-14 are given hands-on learning in a wide range of outdoor activities including:

Archery, canoeing, air rifle shooting, trapping, wildlife identification, plant identification, survival skills, camp cooking, fisheries studies, map & compass, GPS use and so much more.

GIRLS CAMP runs August 5-9, 2025
BOYS CAMP runs August 12-16, 2025

Please note that campers must be sponsored by an SWF branch.

2025 YOUTH CONSERVATION CAMP REGISTRATION FORMS CAN BE FOUND HERE. Please fill out the registration form, and submit to your local Wildlife Federation Branch for sponsorship consideration. Once sponsorship has been approved, SWF branches can email registration forms to cdevins@swf.sk.ca.
