The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation (SWF) is inviting Saskatchewan residents to celebrate the tradition of hunting, angling, and trapping in the province. November 15 is Saskatchewan Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Heritage Day.
The SWF invites individuals and businesses to participate in honoring the Saskatchewan men and women impacting conservation. The day is also designed to raise awareness by having hunters, trappers, and anglers, along with supporters of these ventures to wear camouflage clothing during the Federation’s #CamoDay Celebration on November 15.
In addition to wearing camo today, the SWF encourages supporters to share stories with friends and colleagues and use social media to foster the message.
SWF members are encouraged to send their Camo Day photos to sask.wildlife@swf.sk.ca for their chance to be featured in an upcoming issue of Outdoor Canada West.
