Dennis Pattinson held many leadership offices and was widely honoured as a result of his love of wildlife and devotion to conservation of fish and wildlife. He was very much at home as Cub Master, City Alderman, or taking world dignitaries on fishing or hunting trips. Dennis served on many boards and committees as his advice and knowledge was respected and sought after by many.
He served with the Canadian Wildlife Federation as Director, Secretary, First Vice President, Third Vice President and President. Dennis was President and Director of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation and President of the Battlefords Wildlife Federation.
He was awarded the Winchester Canadian Outdoorsman of the Year award by the Canadian Wildlife Federation in 1984 and the Gordon Lund Conservation Trophy by the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation in 1977. Dennis was a life member of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation.
Dennis Pattinson’s love of people and strong devotion to wildlife conservation resulted in 40 years of tireless volunteer work for the betterment of his community, and a life-long commitment to conservation and protection of wildlife in his native province and Canada.
